Escaping The Classroom - Printed Teacher Booklet
Escaping The Classroom is a complete LES (Learning Evaluation Situation) that will take up to 10 classes!
DIGITAL FILES INCLUDED WITH PRINT.
Students begin by completing an Escape Room (not included), and end by creating their own! This is a project based unit, where students will have to collaborate and communicate in English to complete the task.
This Unit is designed for ESL learners (high school), however can be adapted to other levels or ELA learners.

Access to presentation slides.
Teacher Step by Step Guide with learning objectives.
Two (2) C2 reading comprehension exams.
Handouts for individual work - Students plan individually prior to joining the group (Think-Pair-Share).
Student booklets for group work - Students plan and design their Escape Rooms.
Conversation prompts for C1-evaluation- Interacting with others.
Exit Tickets - Self Assessments (on paper or google form)
Peer Assessments (on paper or google form)
C3 - Writing assignment - Students write an Imaginative Narrative.
Rubrics for evaluations
Additional Resources for low level - modified learners in your classroom.

This project can be easily turned into an interdisciplinary project. Coordinate with another department to create Escape Rooms with challenges related to Math, History, Science, etc.
