PALS Reading Strategy Worksheet
Use this worksheet to practice PALS reading strategy with your students.
How it works:
PALS is a reading strategy where students identify verbs, underline the subjects, square important details, and express the main idea.
Students must:
•Find the verb (circle it)
•Find the subject of the verb the WHO or WHAT of the paragraph (underline it)
•Find the important details about the WHO or WHAT (put a square around them)
•Tell the most important idea from the paragraph in 15 words or less using the WHO and the WHAT and the details circled and underlined.
